- All right, so the holidays are kickin' in, and everybody's decorating dorm doors and dining halls and walls and whatnot. That's all good. But I really have a problem with these so-called snowflakes. You know, people fold paper, cut pieces out, and make giant snowflakes. They're all over dining halls and dorms. But does nobody else see that none of these look like snowflakes?!?! Everybody makes them square or octagonal because the paper they start out with is always rectangular. SNOWFLAKES ARE HEXAGONAL!!! All of these "snowflakes" look like somebody took a bunch of doilies and hung them up!!!!!! UGHHH this weekend I'm cutting up some gorgeous hexagonal snowflakes and putting them on my door.
- Am I missing something? Serious question. Why are there so many people wearing other schools' hoodies around campus? I see a Duke every three days, seen a couple Harvards, I think a Brown, etc. Random high-profile schools! Every time I see one, I'm so confused: "Are they visiting...?!" "Do they ask their friends who go there to get one for them...??" "Is that their dream grad school...??" Whatever the case, I don't understand! Does anybody at Walton come to school wearing a Wheeler or Lassiter or, fine, an Exeter shirt?? No! I was bewildered in the first month or so here, but I've concluded that these other-school-spirit people are just weird. People, there's this bookstore in front of Tate and it sells a lot of hoodies with our own school's name on them. -confused hand motion with frowny eyes- So again, can somebody enlighten me? Or is it weird that I find this weird?

Lol....I love your insight. And your "confused hand motion with frowny eyes."
ReplyDeleteWhy are they wearing Dook hoodies...? Many, many things wrong with that...;)
I really wanted to make snowflakes. I'll be sure to make them hexagonal now. Or you might literally kill me all the way from Georgia :P
