I left Humility all alone on the road

All my life, I used to be an arrogant girl with very little self-confidence.
Now, I'm an arrogant girl with much self-confidence.  (If not much, more, at least.)

That's progress!  Just have to take care of the first half now.

What is in your heart will always emerge through your actions.  If not immediately, then eventually.  Sometimes you don't realize what was in your heart until it has already come out and it is too late.  Wake-up calls are always excellent.  Who knows how much it might have grown without detection, sort of like cancer?  Ah, Your perfect timing...
