Why Next Semester Should Be Better

I realized today (about time) that most of the classes I'm taking this semester, I'm not taking out of interest.

Public speaking --- I took it because I thought it would be helpful.  Sort of like "I have to confront this sometime."  And it has been very helpful.
Stephen Jay Gould class --- I took it because I knew I would feel uncomfortable in a class that made fun of creationism every week.  And it has been a great experience.
Calc 2 --- I took it because I had Fulton for two years. (I really don't mean to sound like an immature student who blames her teacher for everything, but trust me)  And I actually learned calculus this time.
Brit lit --- I took it to fill the Franklin lit requirement.  And I'm glad I chose it over Roman culture or something.
Philharmonia --- I took this as sort of a consolation for not doing the symphony, because I thought I would die without orchestra.  Turns out I should have dropped out after the first rehearsal.
HONS 1000H --- Can anything be more mandatory

Chinese is the only class I took out of pure interest and enthusiasm.  Lovin' it.  This semester, the class has been way too easy.

BUT next semester,

Music class --- duh
Chinese --- I think I'm getting a sh**** teacher, but whatever, Chinese is Chinese (hmm... hope this isn't a UGA Phil deja vu)
Geology --- yes.
Physics --- REUNION.
Multi --- ............. this will be the exception, but perfectly tolerable

Mostly out of interest alone.

AND NO MORE PHIL MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA (tonight was the last rehearsal... oh sweet survival)

And no more four classes in a row on Tuesdays (My ability to go to four classes in a row stopped somewhere in the middle of the semester)

And lunch break every day... hooray!

I think the only downside will be that I'll have 9:05 / 9:30 every morning... I'm gonna miss my 11:00AM Thursdays and 10:10 mornings.  And getting out uber early some days.  I liked the variety throughout the week.

... And Tuesday night small groups yayy!

Thing about college schedule is.............. it is sooo tentative.  And they mess you up last minute... OR, I may easily decide that this PHYS 3700 is way over-my-head, and that can change things a lot during drop/add.............

Back to my speech.  Last speech of the semester.  And then study for the last regular calc test.........

Sigh.  Just tonight, and the rest of the week will be party.  Sort of.  Sleep.  Party.  Exercise.  What else?  Okay, speech.
