Sparkly Noisemakers

What a fun new year's eve party.  Met a bunch of people I've been wanting to meet, met some I never expected to meet (like a couple of German students), spent time with people who just graduated and are going away, and had fun with other geology friends.  I cannot say enough how much I love our entire department -- all the professors, my TAs that I drink, cave, and hike with, the alumni that come back and show off their business cards while partying with us, and classmates who always help each other.  Good company, good drinks, I think this year's off to a good start.
